We are still in amazement of all the beautiful moments from the royal wedding. Did you Watch? The Royal Wedding began bright and early at 4:00 am and from first sight, there was no shortage of details. As we expected this was not going to be your traditional royal wedding as Meghan & Harry are not your typical royals. They have both paved a way for themselves outside of what is considered traditional royalty, and the world was so excited to see them wed.
The Royal Wedding Chapel
Prince Harry & Meghan were married at the beautiful St. George’s Chapel in Windsor. The Chapel door was adorned with a stunning floral arch that encompassed flowers grown local including peonies, garden roses, and beautiful green foliage.
The Bride Arrived with her mother and they were both simply stunning. Meghan wore a simple but stunning bridal gown made out of triple silk organza, featured an open bateau neckline with three-quarter-length sleeves a cathedral length train. Designed by British designer Clare Waight Keller first female artistic director to head the house of Givenchy.
The Drama came from her veil, it represented 53 commonwealth countries that both Meghan & Harry support and work with. It was simply stunning, oh and the details that went into that veil were simply beautiful.
The Bouquet was one of our favorites. Just like Meghan’s dress, it was simple but there was so much meaning behind it. Meghan carried a bouquet of flowers picked by Harry made up of forget me nots (which were Princess Diana’s Favorite flower) sweet peas, lily of the valley, astilbe, jasmine, and astrantia.
This gorgeous wedding had some many beautiful details and shows how simplicity can be beautiful. Every detail in this wedding told a story of this lovely couple and their family. From Meghan walking her self partially down the aisle to Prince Charles escorting her the rest of the way. Incorporating both of the families religions within the ceremony and honoring Beautiful Princess Diana.
This is only the beginning of their story and we are so glad we were able to witness them saying ‘I Do’. As wedding season is upon us and there will be a lot of inspiration being pulled from this wedding I want you all to remember their wedding told their story perfectly. Use this inspiration to tell your story.
